Handel Leaded Stained Slag Glass Lamp Shade Rest Heat Cap

Description: This auction is a "thin style" Handel shade rest/heat cap with moon shaped cutouts. These caps are 3 7/8" in diameter and slip a 3 5/8" shade hole. They are 1" deep with a 1/4" deep lip. These are the kinds that would be used with leaded shades (as opposed to Handel's reverse painted and overlay shades that use the "standard" heat cap). These are well done, American made parts fabricated years ago in a machine shop near Reading, PA. They are exact copies of Handel heat caps, made out of thick copper sheet. Some have slight stains and some corrosion, but all will need to be patinaed anyway. I am asking $25 each for them.
