Description: Hand carved wild boar with fine detail work, great teeth and painted tongue. Carved from a single piece of wood he stands on a substantial base. Pen marked "Marburg 1948" on the bottom as shown. Good scale and remains in fine shape with just light signs of age and imperfections. Displays quite well, even patina. Please see photos, condition report and send any questions you may have. Base is 9.25" x 3", 6.25" tall. Very good condition, light signs of age only. No major flaws however his left ear may have a tiny bit of loss on the top corner, very light wear to the crest of hair on his back. No large chips, no cracks, no repairs, no water damage, no sun fading etc. Moderate hand wear only, clean appearance with little patina of any kind.
