Blitz Bass HAMER has focused on manufacturing high-quality instruments with "vintage aesthetics" and "creative innovation" since its establishment, with clients including big names like KISS, Bad Company, and Wishbone Ash. At that time, HAMER was said to have 12 craftsmen handcrafting around 10 instruments per week, with most of their supply going to famous touring groups. This "HAMER Blitz Bass" is the same model used by Nikki Sixx of Mötley Crüe and Rick Savage of Def Leppard. The company was acquired by another company in 1988 and since then has been manufacturing and selling low-cost Asian-made lines. However, this bass is a high-quality instrument made at the "HAMER factory in America," completely different from those lines. Based on the serial number, I believe it was made in 1985. Even today, in the United States, it is being sold as a used instrument, making it a highly popular bass. Perhaps influenced by the trend of L.A. Metal at the time, it features Schaller Drop-D pegs for the 4-string tuners. The strap is a buckle-type strap directly attached.*Original pegs and strap pins are stored and will be included.
