Description: Offered is an ORCA-Flash4.0 LT camera. It has been refurbished by an ex-Hamamatsu sales and support engineer.A foggy unit sold for $1250 and $1510 recently. This package includes:- Hamamatsu ORCA-Flash4.0 LT- High quality USB 3.0 cable with screw locks- Power supply- Optional: Original Power-Win power supply for an extra $100 (retails for $250)- Optional: USB stick with software an information, all of which can be found online free of charge The condensation issue has been fixed. The tradeoff of this repair is a higher noise floor when it comes to extended exposures. I have compared 1 second, 5 seconds and 10 seconds exposures, the noise performance is still pretty good. The camera works perfectly for brightfield and widefield fluorescence use. The LT line of cameras uses a sealed chamber that will become leaky after years of use, depending on the environment, it could leak as soon as 4-5 years. The higher end versions marked with V (V1, V2, V3) uses a sealed hermetic chamber and the window is heated slightly, those will never leak. If you stumbled upon my listing and your institution wants to buy a new one, please take this into consideration. (Honestly get the V3.) The camera looks ugly cosmetically but it produces solid images. The last image shows moss, brightfield/fluorescence overlay from a customer that purchased a unit. The other images were from me, taken with various Hamamatsu and Andor scientific cameras of similar specifications (not specifically this exact unit). They are all widefield, which should give an idea of its capabilities. USB 3.0 connection only, FPS capped at about 30. If you restrict to an ROI, you can get higher FPS. I can include the original Power-Win power supply for an additional $100. Otherwise, the Greatwall one works perfectly. They are a major white label used by all kinds of manufacturers. If you need help setting up the software, let me know. DCAM can be downloaded from Hamamatsu's website and HCImage can be downloaded by registering an account. I can include them in a USB stick if you like. Please let me know if you need more than one unit. I have a few. 2020 list price was around $15k AUD.
