Description: Large and rare vintage linen-backed wall map featuring the street and house number layout of Philadelphia from 1927. Most likely used by a police precinct, fire department, post office or delivery company located in Philadelphia during the late twenties and early thirties. This is high quality and manufactured by Hagstrom's. Measures about 75 in long x 52 in wide Condition: Fair. Numerous longitudinal cracks. Mostly intact however would need to be mended. Paper is a little bit brittle though it is backed to linen which is still pliable. Fading and foxing as you would expect for an almost 100-year-old map. There are also sections which are colored in yellow and there are some salmon colored arrows. I believe the yellow was hand colored or lithographed on but the arrows I believe were added by the prior owner contemporaneously. If you need any specific detail shots or information, I'm happy to help.
