Description: Gurdjieff "Beelzebub's Tales to His Grandson" 3 Volume Paperback Box Set published in1973 by E.P. Dutton Publishing Corp, New York. These books are the 1st Series in the author's "All and Everything" Books. The books are like new, no mark-ups, tears, creases or dog ears to pages. All pages are pristine and clean. The very top and bottom edges near the spine have minor discoloration from age (see last 2 photos), but there is no foxing to any pages inside. The front & back covers are in excellent condition. The box container does show wear and the top and bottom seams have been taped, more for reinforcement than for actual separation. Gurdjieff originally wrote these books as part of the "All and Everything" books where he recounts his research in the fundamental questions of life while travelling in remote areas of Central Asia. The narrative was used to read aloud to his own pupils. He then wrote this 1st series originally in Russian and Armenian in 1950. He personally selected and directed professional translators to translate the books into other languages. This is the first English Translation edition set in the series.
