Description: Here is a 45 degree brass muzzle lapping tool. Use this with 600 grit silicon carbide lapping compound to remove the micro burrs on the end of the lands and grooves at the barrel crown. It has a range from .17 to .50 cal. The shank is 3/8" diameter. It can be used on a lathe or hand drill. Note: This is NOT a crowning tool. It is to be used after a new crown is cut or to touch up an old one. This style lap is the original on ebay. Don't be fooled by the copy cats that steal my ideas!
