Description: Shipbuilders Plate from GULF DANE, built as Yard No. 508 by Furness Shipbuiding Co. Ltd in Halverton Hill, UK in 1961. The tanker was part of the Gulf Oil Fleet until the mid 1970's. She was salvaged in Kaohsiung, Taiwan in 1976. This Builders Plate was salvaged, and has been part of a major US Maritime Collection for many years.
