Face of clock is 5 inches -- Looks like a pendulum style clock but there's no sign that I recognize as a place for a pendulum to go, so perhaps you would understand better. Bracket and Screw Slot for hanging. The Battery Slot is for a 1.5v AAA Battery however, I have a new one that does not work, so there MIGHT BE A FLAW in the battery holder. The hands on the clock appear to be in good condition under the glass of the clock, but move as if on a dying battery when battery is inserted. So, although the clock appears to be in fine condition -- it Most probably will need replacing. Unless you're a wizard at such things, the round clock part is easy to pick up or find in many stores. OR the Green gage would make a beautiful plant (or other) frame for a living vine.
