Description: Great Britain paid tribute to explorer Ernest Shackelton and the Endurance Expedition (1914-1916) with the release of a set of eight stamps on January 7, 2016. The stamps include two first class stamps and six higher denomination stamps. This item includes the complete set of eight stamps (in four pairs) provided in a Presentation Pack produced by Royal Mail. The "pack" is a tri-fold that, when unfolded, reveals extensive information (authored by Michael Smith) the expedition and photographs, including Hurley's dramatic photographs and images of the expedition's artifacts and impedimenta.
