Gorgeous NASB Nancy Ann Storybook Frozen, Slim Tummy #168 Silks & Satin

Description: A wonderful little doll from 1943 - an all-bisque and all-original NASB #168 Silks & Satin. Slim tummy, frozen legs, and jointed shoulders, she wears her original outfit - a long pink taffeta gown with a lace trimmed satin insert with pink and blue silky braid down the sides of the insert. She has an organdy slip. Her dress is closed by a pin in the back that looks like it has never been unpinned. I can’t read all of the inscription on her back without unpinning it so I will not do that (I could never get the darn pin pinned again!) The inscription I see is sharp and clear. She has organdy pantaloons. Her outfit is completed with a gorgeous pink bonnet that is trimmed on the inside with the same pink and blue silky braid that is on the sides of the insert. The bonnet has a fluffy pink maribou feather on the right side of her face. A pink ribbon that appears to have never been untied holds her bonnet on. The bonnet really is wonderful! She stands about 5 inches tall, with a darling face! She has perfectly painted features with a little bow of a mouth, blue eyes, and original, blonde hair that has been protected by the bonnet. She has perfect painted black thin slippers with no missing paint. She is in excellent condition with no damage, no chips or nicks, no cracks or hairlines, and no repairs or odors - she is from a smoke-free home. Her clothing is very nice, crisp and bright. She does not have her wrist tag or her box. She is part of the Storybook Series, Nursery Rhyme.
