Above the sacrament medal is a two sided hand carved mother of pearl rose and above that is a solid bronze dove, also cast by hand from the original mold. The metal used in its construction is solid bronze, and the necklace is strung on jewelry wire that cannot be broken. You need wire cutters to cut it and it is extremely flexible It has been crafted with great attention to detail.
