Globalstar GSP-1600 Tri -Mode Satellite phone Unused In Original Packaging (NOS)

Description: I purchased these directly from our military at auction. I bought 11 of these phones total. 8 were phone only still in original box with all the listed contents ( battery,AC charging cable, manual & instructions). These appear to be new and unused. The phones were previously activated but seem to have never been issued to service members. The total call log on each phone is 1-6 with total time under or around 1 min. Likely the initial calls to setup and activate. I took pictures of the call logs on each of the phones and can send if not listed. All of the phones had battery cell issues. Either very low voltage, swollen, or dead cells. I purchased all new rechargeable lithium ion batteries and replaced in each of them. They were all then fully charged and tested. The military removed the Sims prior to auction so wasn’t able to test to make calls but went through menu options and all worked. Most of the charging cables had cracked or cracking wires. The exterior shielding where the bends were had cracked exposing inner wiring but none were broken. I used black electrical tape and did best to wrap to protect while charging new batteries. Some of the phones screens have lighter than others resolution. Maybe from being stored in hot environment or lack of use but all were visible enough to navigate menu and operate. Have pictures of each as well and will send prior to purchase on each phone. One of the boxes has a ripped top missing a piece of cardboard. I did get 3 that came with the car kits and those phones show more than the activation calls but not part of this listing. There’s a menu that is on the phone to check total calls, and minutes used. I TOOK PICTURES OF THESE AND IN LISTING PHOTOS. Prior to my purchase the military remove the Sim cards, but the old phone number still comes up these phones would require service contract, and Globalstar would be able to provide the new Sim cards to activate them. Most of the phones had very low battery life so I purchased cells and replace them so no need to worry there.
