Description: I'm selling my beloved 1984 Gibson SG Standard. This is a seriously cool guitar with lots of mojo and big-time sustain. There are no breaks in the neck, and it is structurally in perfect condition. An absolute blast to play. Resonates remarkably well.Professionally setup with 10s and it feels really good. Recently had a fret level. These are original frets with some wear but no buzzing whatsoever and very playable. Still have life in them. With 10s I have no problem bending.This guitar has been very loved and it has the true wear to prove it. There's various rubbed off paint spots and dings but it only adds to the vibe. None at all affect playability. I love a guitar with some history. The previous owner had put a PRS USA pickup in the neck and a zebra DiMarzio in the bridge. I can include them if you want, just let me know. I replaced them with hand-aged Slick Old School pickups to add the same sag as 70s pickups. The aged nickel really fits the look too. As you can hear in the video, they sound amazing and are very responsive and controllable with volume and tone. I believe all of the electronics are original.Comes with a hard shell case in the photos.
