Description: We took a popular seller, the Plastic Chess Set with the 25" King, and designed an insert to make the set a foot taller. Then our customers started using two such inserts to produce a chess set with a dazzling 49" tall king. These inserts have the patent-pending quick connect coupling, making for quick and tight assembly. Many of our customers find the Plastic Chess Set with a 49" King to be the best mix of size, weight and cost for chess clubs, schools, backyards, hotels, cruise ships, country clubs, special events and recreational facilities. The plastic MegaChess pieces are made of indestructible high-density polyethylene (HDPE) recycled plastic. These chess pieces are rugged, waterproof, and UV-resistant injection-molded, hollow plastic. The chess set withstands the outdoor elements very well and will retain its color.
