Description: The femur fragment is the exact measurements of the original. Although there may be slight variations from one casting to another. It is made from a hard plastic which many museums use. The pictures show the paper thin lines from the mold as well as the spout and pour hole remains which was used. This was left to show you the quality. The product is not primed and unpainted. The mold lines will be removed and there may be some detailing and/or apoxying. The cast is a light reddish hue as a reminder to prime. :) Do not forget to prime lightly when you receive this product. Use a rattle can of fusion paint something that bonds to plastic for the best result. Also view the wikipedia page for the Giant of Castelnau for more info. This is "Giant of Castelnau" femur bone. The "Giant of Castelnau"refers to several fossil bone fragments dating back to the Neolithic. According to de Lapouge, the fossil bones may belong to one of the largest humans known to have existed. He estimated from the bone size that the human may have been about 3.50 metres (11.5 ft) tall. The bones were discovered by the anthropologist Georges Vacher de Lapouge at the Bronze Age cemetery of Castelnau-le-Lez, France in the winter of 1890. His findings were published in the journal La Nature, Vol. 18, 1890 Issue 888.In the Peer reviewed science medical Journal La Nature, de Lapouge describes the bones in detail: "I think it unnecessary to note that these bones are undeniably human, despite their enormous size.... The bones of the Castelnau giant were studied at the University of Montpellier and examined by M. Sabatier, professor of Zoology, at the University of Montpellier, and M. Delage, professor of paleontology at the University of Montpellier, in addition to other anatomists. In 1892 the bones were carefully studied by Dr. Paul Louis André Kiener, professor of pathological anatomy at Montpellier School of Medicine, for which he admitted they represented a "very tall race", but nevertheless found them abnormal in dimensions and apparently of "morbid growth." The "Giant of Castelnau" is the most verified Giant Human in existance, more than 2 and a half taller than Robert Wadlow who is commonly known as: "the tallest man that ever exist whom there is irrefutable evidence". Clearly not! If you are a collector, dime store museum owner, or like giant hunting and research. If you this fits into the accounts of the Nephilim, this would be a great addition to an elongated skull. Nephilim or Greater Ancestor who could say? You can own a nearly exact artistic replica of a human that was 11.5 feet tall. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giant_of_Castelnau de Lapouge, G. (1890). "Le Gėant Fossile de Castelnau".
