Description: Product Description GF Georg Fischer Signet Type 2000 Micro Flow Sensor PN: 3-2000-21 Condition: Used, tested. Appearance: Good. Some normal wear on pvc coupler fittings. Details: This is a used GF Georg Fischer Signet Type 2000 Micro Flow Sensor, PN: 3-2000-21. It includes two 1/2” NPT M x1/4” NPT F PVC reducer fittings as shown in the pictures. It came from a medical company R&D lab sell off. The unit looks fine and has been tested. I tested the unit in the following manner: I wired the flow sensor to a Shimpo process controller using the Shimpo's 12VDC source to power the flow sensor. Then ran water (in direction of the arrow on unit) from the sink faucet thru a hose thru the flow sensor and out to the sink drain. I observed the Shimpo digital readout of pulses/minute increase or decrease as I changed the water input flow. No other tests were done. Because it is used it is being sold “as is.” Note that the cable is only about 4 feet long rather than the original spec. of 25 feet. See pictures for close-up of item. The Signet Micro Flow Sensor model 3-2000-21 is constructed from Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) which provides high material strength. It has a flow range of 1.13 to 12.11 lpm (0.3 to 3.2 gpm), for clean process liquids, regardless of fluid color or opacity. This sensor can be connected to flexible tubing or rigid pipe, and uses standard hardware for mounting. Only one moving part and a low pressure drop across the sensor reduce operating costs and maintenance requirements.
