Description: This used 10 German reichsmark note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Imperial Bank. It is a green and brown note that is dated 22 January 1929, bears the signatures of Shacht & Dreyse, Budczies, Bernhard, Seiffert, Vocke, Friedrich, Fuchs, and Schneider, and measures 150 mm x 75 mm. Its obverse side features an E underprint letter, a green Reichsbank seal, and a portrait of the agronomist Albrecht Daniel Thaer. Its reverse side shows standing cherubs holding fish and cornucopia and a medallion of a woman holding a sickle and stalks of wheat. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a watermark of Albrecht Daniel Thaer, an 8-digit serial number, and an embossed control seal. The note was withdrawn in 1948.
