Description: Antique German Stoneware Stein/Pitcher/ Jug Westerwald Salt Glazed Etched. Beautiful Cobalt Blue color ,hand etched design of leaves or floral. Has original pewter lid in excellent condition. Measures: 16 inches x 7 inches , holds 20 cups or 4.73 liters of liquid. The Stein is in excellent condition for the age , there is a hair line and rough area at the pour spout but seems by the appearance to have been repaired and coved by the original salt glaze.
