Since MOST of these titles are from the 1950's, 1960's and 1970's, this auction was listed under such. NONE OF THESE POSTERS ARE DOUBLE-SIDED! THIS WAS ONLY DONE FROM THE 1980'S THROUGH NOW. ~ CLASSICS, CULT, DISNEY, JERRY LEWIS, SCI-FI, HORROR and MORE!! ~ *NOTE* YOU'RE NOT GOING TO FIND AN OFFERING LIKE THIS OF ORIGINAL AMERICAN ONE-SHEETS ANYWHERE CURRENTLY UP FOR BID ON ! ...do NOT get duped into buying CRUDDY reproductions! You may contact us through: eBay's message system (contact member) DESCRIPTION: ATTENTION BIDDERS: FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE UNFAMILIAR WITH MOVIE POSTERS . . . THESE ARE NOT COMMERCIAL, REPRODUCTIONS, REPRINTS OR VIDEO POSTERS. THESE ARE THE ACTUAL POSTERS THAT WERE USED AT THE THEATER WHEN THE FILMS WERE RELEASED! These authentic one-sheets are either one-sided or double-sided and printed in full color on glossy paper and measures approx. 27" x 41" (unless noted). Most newer one-sheets are printed double-sided (with a mirror image on the back) for use in a light box in front of the theaters. On occasion some posters were printed using a duotone or monotone process. All are rolled as issued. (Unless noted.) However, sometimes the studios print some posters single-sided. These are rolled as issued. Until the early 1980's or so, posters were sent out to theaters folded. These are ORIGINALS! (*NOTE* re-release posters are originals too as they were put out in theatres after their initial release date.) Again, I do not deal in commercial, reproductions, reprints OR video posters! FOR SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY! If any questions please e-mail me. Please do not wait until the last minute. CONDITION: GRADING DESCRIPTIONS: Mint: No visible blemishes. Very Good: Above average condition. Good: Average used condition, may have pinholes or tape in border areas, slight damage to surface on folds. Fair: Possible tape repairs, tears or pieces missing on borders, water stain, more pinholes than usual. Poor: Heavier damage such as surface areas completely worn, bigger water stains, but presentable and usable. FLAWS (If any): Some may have slight flaws such as pinholes, rips, tears, slight water damage, etc. but most are in decent, very good condition! I have listed some LESSER condition titles in this list. Still a nice collectible arrangement, regardless. These will all be sold AS IS! No exceptions. You will not be disappointed. There are some hidden gems in there. This would make a EXCELLENT starting collection for you beginners. Every poster in this offering is from 1985 or OLDER! (As old as 1951. "That's My Boy") There are some PRIME CLASSIC titles! The bulk of these posters are from the 1960's and 1970's. Conditions do vary. (D/S)= Double-sided, (S/S)= Single-sided NOTE: Not listed in this auction. N.S.S. # = National Screen Service number (if available) NOTE: Not listed in this auction. ALL are either size 27" X 41" or 27" X 40" (unless noted). COMPLETE LIST OF ALL 108 TITLES IN THIS LOT: Not all posters have the year of release on them. I did research on each title that were undated and applied the proper year after each title. Some titles were unsuccessfully unable to be labeled with a year of release due to their obscurity. We will do our best to answer ALL questions within a reasonable time period. (But please do not ask for a list of ALL 108 one-sheet titles as they are ALL listed.) Realistically you will get about half great and good titles and about half mediocre and not-so-good titles BUT it will still be a fantastic selection of one-sheets for the price! As you can see from the list above, some of these titles are valued at hundreds -OR- thousands of dollars! This is just the tip of the iceberg of the WONDERFUL assortment of ORIGINAL ONE-SHEET MOVIE POSTERS that you would receive in this AMAZING AWESOME batch! FAQ: Below are some possible QUESTIONS you may have that we can provide answers for now to help save you time: (1.) As I was looking at specific titles from your list, I saw that you had a Jerry Lewis title, can I ask if you have anymore Lewis one-sheets in this lot? Of course, you can ask on any specific title of any actor, genre, etc. ALL titles are listed in this lot. (2.) Are there any FOREIGN one-sheet posters offered in this lot? NO, these are ALL U.S. style one-sheets, however some could be labeled as INTERNATIONAL STYLE. (International styles may be included if in English lettering which these both contain.) For various reasons, movie studios often create different versions of movie posters for the major English language countries such as the United States, Australia and UK and less often for Canada, Ireland, and South Africa. The studios also typically issue “international one sheets” for general international distribution. (3.) Are these all ORIGINAL theatrical-released one-sheet posters offered in this lot? YES, these are ALL U.S. style one-sheets. There are NO video posters in this lot. Plus there are NO REPRINT posters either. (4.) Can you please describe if there are damages or flaws on any poster we request? We will do our best to describe any damages on the requested title(s) especially on the more valuable titles. Please Note: This may take a little time to research due to the many posters offered. Depending on our reply - it is up to you to decide if the poster(s) are candidates for either restoration, linen-back or repairs. (5.) Are returns allowed on this auction? Sorry, but there are NO returns on this lot since it is such a huge amount. Believe me, you will be satisfied with this lot! Again, if you have any other questions - PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK. * Please Note * You will receive these posters in folded & rolled -OR- in some cases flat condition as they were originally received. *Tips* When buying an Original Poster from the 1960's, 1970’s or 1980’s. Check the NSS # National Screen Service as it should always be printed on the poster in the bottom right-hand corner. (There are certain exceptions.) Second: In most cases, there should also be an ink stencil of the movie and the NSS # on the back of the poster. If you don't see, at least, one those 2 things, question the authenticity of the poster. *Note* Sometimes you won’t find these on independent films that weren’t printed by the NSS. Also, most one sheets made prior to 1990 are sized 27x41; most after this date are 27x40. [Unless otherwise specified, poster measurements quoted above are approximate to the nearest inch. For example, if we say a poster is 27"x41" its precise measurements may be something like 26 3/4" x 40 7/8". This is quite common for all original movie posters.] There are some Exceptions: For example, most 1-sheets from the 1990's through 2000's; The NSS no longer exists. (1920-2000) They were bought out by Technicolor who now handles most of their production but does not use the National Screen numbering system. (see pics below and decide for yourself) PAYMENT METHOD: Accepted Means of Payment PayPal - payment can ONLY be made from a confirmed address!
