Description: General Radio (GenRad) model 72-MC precision condenser (capacitor) this was once used by Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and the US Atomic Energy Commission, this is missing the little spinner knob on the main knob but the knob is still usable. The wood looks a little rough because I've not varnished it, as that's a no-no with antiques. I recommend a treatment called Tru-Oil though, it's a linseed oil based finish that you rub in with your fingers, it wears like iron and will make the wood glow.
