Published for the Twenty-Seventh American Division (The New York Division). It is illustrated with black & white photographs, drawings, and cartoons. Full page drawings by Pvt. Ray Van Buren. The first is of Major General John F O’Ryan (Commander). The 27th Infantry Division was a unit of the Army National Guard in World War I. The division traces its history from the New York Division, formed originally in 1908. Most issues of this publication were published at Camp Wadsworth. The division shipped out on 20 April 1918. 8 ½” x 10 ½” and 32 pages. Some mild general wear along the edges. Internally clean and tight.
