Description: This week I'm offering a variety of collectibles, including trading cards as well as comics. Wallace Wood was arguably the finest artist of the 1950's and 1960's, and was particulary known for drawing stunningly beautiful women. Beginning in the Sixties, he provided soft-core illustrations for a variety of non-mainstream publications, including Playboy. By the late Seventies, ill health and financial problems drove Wood to self-publish some magazines that were downright pornographic. They did feature some very attractive naked women... Here I have a copy of Gang Bang #1, published in 1980 (the last year of Wood's life). It's a large, 8 1/2 x 11 magazine featuring "adult" versions of Snow White, Terry and the Pirates, and Wood's own long-running character, Sally Forth (NOT to be confused with the family friendly comic strip character currently running in the newspapers!!). I wish I could provide images of the interior of the magazine...but I can't. I will say that the magazine is VERY rare and VERY much sought-after. It's in outstanding condition, (see scans for condition). This would be an terrific addition to any collection! Shipping will be combined for multiple purchases.
