Description: Up for grabs is the 9th issue of Gamers' Republic. Volume 1, Issue 9. It arrived in February of 1999. This is the "Silent Hill" issue. Gamers Republic gets its reputation from the fact that this was Dave Halverson's second big run of magazines upon his departure from GameFan. The original "Die Hard GameFan", was widely considered one of the best video game magazines ever. When everybody found out that all the editors basically changed, many subscribers abandoned GameFan and continued to follow Halverson around, wherever that was. First it was Gamers' Republic and then later it was Play Magazine. NOTE: There is a full page insert towards the back of the magazine, but it's not "intact". It has three subscription forms and somebody removed one of the subscription forms. Games Reviewed in this issue include: Blood 2, Half-Life, Heretic 2, Sin, Speed Busters, Grim Fandango, Delta Race, Enemy Zero, Trespasser, Fallout 2, for High-End PC Gaming. Top Gear Overdrive, Castlevania 64 for the Nintendo 64. Tomb Raider 3 for the PlayStation. Previewed Games in this issue include: Guardian Crusade, Ridge Racer Type 4, Tai Fu for the PlayStation. Interstate 82, Thief was previewed for PC Gaming. Please take a close look at all the pictures. What you see is what you get. The magazine is bagged and boarded. (This means it's in a protective plastic sleeve that also has a boarding behind it, to keep the magazine in good condition) Shipping is via Flat Rate Priority Envelope.
