It does show game use (no tears or rips) and was worn in the final away game in 1997 vs. Kentucky. In 1997/1998 Steve was a wrecking force as one of UT's Defensive Back Starters in securing wins leading to the 1998 SEC Championships and the 1st (Inaugural) BCS National Championship Game in Tempe, AZ at the Fiesta Bowl. Steve will always be remembered with fond and lasting memories for being a member of the only Tennessee squad to go 13-0 and for his interception in the 1998 National Championship Game against Florida State.
