Please feel free to inquire about which parts we have in stock. Now, on to the auction details -------> Up for sale today is a replacement leg/hip joint for a G1 Jetfire. This part is for the Version 1 G1 Jetfire and is marked with an 'L' & 'R' on the sides. It will NOT attach properly to a Version 2 Jetfire. If you need a Version 2 joint, just ask, we sell those as well. To find out which version you need, just remove the two screws that connect either leg to your joint. The Version 1's are marked with an 'L' or 'R' (you only need to check one side), while the Version 2's have a number after the letter: L1 or R2, for example. [The molds for these two pieces were identical, aside from the number. However, the Version 1's came from an earlier, slightly different mold.] An easier (but not QUITE as accurate) way to check which version you need is to look at your JF's "shoulder plate" (more like a collarbone) that has the company and model information marked on it. The Version 1's are marked 'Bandai (or Matsushiro) Tokyo Japan'. The Version 2's are marked 'Bandai 1984' (or 1985). These two joints are NOT interchangeable, so make sure that you get the right one. Don't worry, I have plenty of each.This part is in used condition, therefore it's not pristine. Even though it's not in A+ (mint) condition, it's an A- at worst. For this price, you can't go wrong.
