Fully Tested NOS NIB LM Ericsson Western Electric WE-417A 5842 417A Tubes

Description: Here are three (3) brand-new NOS/NIB never used and fully tested LM Ericsson 417A/5842 tubes, with gold-plated pins. The 5842 is the JAN designation for the 417A. The 5842 is identical in every respect to the 417A, with the exception being the 5842 is the JAN tube number for the 417A. The lettering on each tube is pristine. Here are the test results when tested in my calibrated TV-7/U tube tester. Note that the minimum acceptable reading (when tested with the TV-7/U tester) for the 417A or 5842 is 15, so you can see that these tubes test way above the minimum value, as you would expect for new and unused tubes: Tube No. 1: 54 Tube No. 2: 38 Tube No. 3: 32 As you would also expect from new-in-box and unused tubes, the gold-plated pins on all of these tubes are straight, clean, and free of any oxidation. There are no rattles or loose particles within any of the tubes. The silver getters are bright and shiny. The tube boxes are in good condition, but one of the boxes is missing the rear flap due to age. Note also that the paper stiffener used to secure the tube within the box have deteriorated from age (see the photos). These stiffeners will be included, but each tube will be securely packed within each tube box with new filler to protect the tube during shipment. I have no capability for testing these tubes for microphonics. You are purchasing all three of these tubes for one price. As with all electronic equipment of this vintage, these tubes are sold as-is and with no warranty.
