Description: A full plate (8" x 6", approx.) tintype of a family. Nice clarity. Three other photos accompany the piece. These three photos might be of help in identifying the subjects. We think there is a strong possibility that this is the Probst family of the Weston, West Virginia area. The two smaller photos are identified on the back as being images of "Grandma Probst, Mom and Aunt Nora". In comparing the images with the tintype, we think the mother in the tintype is very possibly "Grandma Probst" as she appeared many years later. The three young ladies in the larger mounted photo, two of whom are identified to the back as "Mom" and "Fay Probst" could very possibly be the younger girls seen standing in the tintype photo. This group of images was discovered in the Cleveland, Ohio area. Please review the preceding condition description box and photo gallery. The pieces will be shipped well protected. We combine shipping.
