Description: Here is an exquisite pair of vintage or antique trays, perhaps to present two important guests with a serving of sushi or other Japanese cuisine. The porcelain of celadon color has a beautifully glossy glaze on a refined artful shape of overlapping leaves. These were produced by Fukagawa Seiji (Fukagawa Porcelain Company) which exported porcelain ware to Europe and America. This backstamp is the mark of the family name of the Fukagawa company under Mt. Fuji. Each tray measures 12” length x 4” wide x 1.25” tall, and weighs 13 ounces. Condition is exceptional with no chips, cracks, crazing, or scratches.
