Description: Vintage “Fruit in Pedestal Compote Bowl” was handcrafted by Walnut Ridge Collectibles in 1998. Long retired and very hard to find, this lovely chalkware figurine was created in the USA by Kathi Lorance Bejma. Handcrafted from chalkware, it was lovingly hand-painted, signed and dated on the bottom by Kathi! A bountiful collection of fruit: pears, grapes, apples, plums, peaches, etc.; are stacked in a pedestal bowl that measures approximately 9” tall x 5.1/4” wide, and weighs just over 2 pounds. It comes with its Walnut Ridge Registration Card. In excellent condition, this unique collectible is “new” from the Holiday Shop of Saratoga Springs old store stock. It has been in storage since 2001. It comes from an extremely clean, smoke, and pet-free environment.
