Description: Danish teak tray table (Model 4508) designed in 1958 by Svend Åge Willumsen and Hans Engholm for Fritz Hansen. Exemplifies the marriage of form and function, revealing to be both practical and expertly crafted while maintaining its minimalist elegance. The circular tray top is supported by a deeply sculpted base on 4 elegant, sleek legs. The tray can be removed for serving or for easy storage when not in use. The base features a built in steel mechanism which allows for full flat collapsibility. Large enough to serve as a more substantial side table or a smaller coffee table. Condition: Excellent with no gouges or deep scratches in wood. Only one small chip in teak on underside edge (see photo - approx 0.5”). Cannot notice when tray is on table legs. Legs fold on metal hinges with no damage. Very minor scratches and blemishes on wood consistent with age. Lightly oiled with teak oil. Dimensions: 17" H x 23.5" W
