Description: 1940s French Dinky Toy No24Q 1949 Ford Vedette V8. Used/pre-owned. Smaller baseplate letters date it issued in 1950 or 1951. Code 3 respray as could not match original paint. Looks like a 1949 Mercury. Excellent casting praised in Jean-Michel Roulet’s book as ”un excellent modele qui restitue fidelemont le dessin de l’original.” Fine detail of radiator grille seems to have required a separate die for the front.
