Frank & Brian Herbert - Father & Son SciFi Collection - First Editions & Prints

Description: A charming collection of titles by the father and son duo Frank and Brian Herbert (known for the ‘Dune’ series). All written in the 1980s, these are some of Frank’s last titles and Brian’s first. All are first editions and first printings conditioned as Very Good. All have beautiful and clean dust jackets with only minimal wear (mostly around the spines). The book boards are clean and exhibit only minor bumping. All have structurally sound bindings. All feel essentially unread, a fact supported by the original receipts that come with a few of them. All but ‘Sudanna, Sudanna’ appear to come with original receipts or book store information, mostly from now defunct Ann Arbor book stores. ‘The White Plague’ has an interesting inscription regarding its sale written on the half title, which I decided to leave in for posterity (it is written in pencil and can be easily erased). All in all, it is a handsome set that shows the creative connection between the famous father and son SciFi duo. Also they look nice on a bookshelf.
