Since the amount of oxygen in the exhaust gas is a very good indicator of combustion efficiency, it is also the best place to monitor the air fuel ratio. Our Oxygen Sensors are precision made for outstanding performance and manufactured to meet and exceed all original equipment specification and test requirements. Improved Engine Response & Performance Lower Emissions Improved Fuel Economy Longer Sensor Life Meets OEM Specifications How to install an oxygen sensor Step1.Park your Vehicle, set the parking brakes and open the hood Step2.Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Remove the plastic cover. Loosen the 10mm nut. Remove the negative clamp from the battery. Step3.Locate the oxygen sensor on your Vehicle. Do not touch the sensor or the heat shield until the engine cools down. Step4.Press the connector and pull it away to unplug the oxygen sensor. Use a flat head screwdriver to press the locking tab on the connector before you pull it. Step5.Place the oxygen sensor socket on the sensor and break it loose. There is a difference between Genuine and OEM / OE Supplier brands. A genuine part is a part in the auto manufacturer’s original box with their logo on the box. OEM / OE Supplier is a brand licensed by the vehicle manufacturer and the part will not come with the vehicle manufacturer’s logo on it. OEM / OE Supplier parts are often the same parts you’d get at the dealership, just in a different box. We do not accept returns based solely on where a part is manufactured.
