Description: Foltz Pottery - Redware Rabbit - Christmas Ornament, made in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Ned Foltz, the founder is an art teacher and potter from the town of Reinholds in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Redware pottery is the oldest form of pottery made by the early German settlers in Lancaster County. The studio began in 1962 and has grown into one of the most popular folk potteries in the United States. The ornament is 3.5" long, 3.25" wide and .2" thick. The ornament is in good condition with slight wear (see all photos). I have other redware ornaments in separate listings and I'm happy to combine items to save money on postage. DR #2
