Description: LONG WAVE UV Nice fluorescent specimen of Barite/Baryte with an acicular radiating crystal habit. Long wave UV. Part of a round nodule I broke apart to see the crystal structure, has a fan shape. The fluorescence is very interesting with three different sections and colors (to some degree), starting on the exterior to a band in the middle then darker at the center (what was the center when it was a whole nodule that is). Not certain of where exactly it came from in Mexico. 38 grams. 1-3/4" length. I can combine shipping with other items. NOTE!I used a filtered Convoy S2 long wave LED flashlight for the UV images, you will need the same to match the images.
