Description: If you are not familiar with this Flavia Creation 600 coffee brewer, it is a single cup brewer that uses what are called "Fresh Packs". I have a used example pictured. Several manufacturers make these fresh packs in a wide variety of drinks and flavors. There are teas, lattes, hot chocolates, coffees, and others. The included manual has the instructions for making all these and how to maintain and care for this brewer. An excerpt from the manual:This brewer is designed for use with all WHITE nozzle Freshpacks. Please ensure to use this brewerwith FLAVIA Freshpacks that havea barcode on both sides of the pack. The picture that is beside the above text in the manual is the last one above. This unit has sensors that will tell it what size cup is sitting on the drip tray so it does not give an option that the cup cannot handle. The drip tray adjusts its height to minimize splashing when there is a shorter cup in place. I have cleaned this unit and, of course, tested it and you can see by the progression of display pictures it is working very well as if it was new. It reads a bar code on the fresh pack when inserted and displays what it is on the screen. If there are any variations that are available for what is being brewed, those options will be displayed for selection on the large touch screen. When brewing is complete, the used fresh pack it deposited in the drawer/bin. There is a start-up screens sequence. I got some of them in the pictures. It has a detachable cord that is similar (but not interchangeable with) a common computer cord set. It is six feet long. The three ports on the rear of the machine are for accessories that can be bought and plugged in to its respective port. The black rod under these ports is just a stand-off (in the manual it is called a "buffer bar") so the unit can't be too close to the back wall. This is threaded in and will be shipped off the unit in the spent fresh pack drawer/bin along with the cord and drip tray. To avoid having to buy the optional manual-fill water tank, the unit has a garden hose thread inlet that needs to be connected to a filtered water supply. The manual says it must be filtered, for what it's worth. The manual does not mention anything about the top where it is covered with a nice rubber mat. The orange cap is an access to the cold water tank filter. To be clear, this is not the optional "chilled" water tank. This tank can be drained easily. The hot tank is emptied by a different method not covered in the manual. That will have the water in, as far as I can tell, when it ships. I have looked inside the top and rear covers and the hot tanks (there appear to be two) are small, holding just a few ounces each.
