Description: Flames of War rules universe 'Fate of a Nation - Arab-Israeli Wars, Six-Day War, 1967' rule book. As the sub-title says, its about the 1960s era Arab-Israeli conflicts, largely armour focussed and doing what Battlefront does best - boiling down a complex geo-political conflict into simple game mechanics. The rule book is 73 pages [ex-covers] and gives a potted history of the geo-political situation and conflicts [large and small] that took place. It pulls apart and explains how the different forces - Israeli, Jordanian, Egyptian - work and how they are modelled on the table. Although I bought the rules I never played a game with it. Hence this is pristine and virginal as a rule book. I can't vouch for the quality of the game, but if you like lots of armour on your dining table, then Battlefront is the rule set for you, and this is pushes the WWII focus into a different era, but still having the feel of Big Land Battle. I think these rules are out of print at the moment.
