This Bandai Creation First Godzilla is based on that first suit from the original movie ''Godzilla King of the Monsters'' and is a re-issue of the same figure named 1954 Godzilla from the Wave 1 series released in 2002. This figure is one of three in the sixth wave series from Bandai Creaation which also featured Godzilla 2004 and Rainbow Mothra. The packaging for the Wave 6 series is a black, red, and white box with a picture of Godzilla 2004 and the Godzilla Final Wars logo.
