Slab and Lapidary Warranty: Al slabs or lapidary rough can have unforeseen weaknesses including hidden cracks and soft / weak areas. There is no way to test slabs without attempting to break them with applied pressure. We strongly suggest stabilizing or backing any slabs that could potentially break during any lapidary work. There are no refunds in the event of breakage due to handing or lapidary work after you receive the slab. The buyer accepts there are risks in lapidary and gemstone work regarding the interior matrix, and such matrix may not yield desired results. Therefore, there are no refunds for lapidary rough based on inferior or unexpected interior content. Specimen and Lapidary Hazards: Many rocks and minerals (specimens) contain potentially hazardous or allergenic compounds, some known or unknown.
