Description: Finished hand-stitched needlepoint pillow 16"x16" of roses on dark green background with dark green zippered backing. Pillow was completed with 100% cotton canvas and 100% wool yarn. Pillow cushion or insert is not included. Item is new from our warehouse after we consolidated our chain of retail yarn shops. Note on blocking: The pillow is slightly skewed because it is does not yet have a cushion or insert. It is normal for finished hand-made needlepoint pieces made with the continental tent stitch to skew due to the tension from this stitch. Blocking is the process to straighten needlepoint before framing or completion. This pillow was blocked before its backing applied (no glue used) but without a cushion will skew back over time. Slight pulling while and after inserting a cushion or insert will bring it back to square.
