Description: This is the gorgeous fine porcelain Lladró figurine, “Swan Taking Flight Over Water”. Lladró figurines are hand-made in Spain.Based on its backstamp, this particular porcelain figurine appears to be one of the first pieces made in this mold, probably sculpted by Antonio Ruiz.Prevenance: The backstamp on this figurine is the 3rd Lladró backstamp dating from 1971-1974. This blue backstamp features the Lladró bellflower and the name Lladró without the accent on the “o”. In this backstamp, the missing accent on the “o” was intentional. Later, from 1974-1977, this same backstamp included the accent on the “o”.Features: Lladró porcelain figurines have a signature look … fine attention to detail and the use of a limited pastel color palette.Size: This piece is approximately 7½” tall.Condition: This figurine is in excellent condition.
