This is one of the three Elite series lineups (Elite Standard, Vintage) that continue into the current lineup, and this model is equipped with EMG pickups with TBX (Treble Boost Circuit) and MBX (Mid Boost Circuit), making it a guitar that incorporates groundbreaking ideas.It uses a button type instead of a pickup selector, making it possible to create the same sound variations as the current American Professional Stratocaster. It is also said that the Eric Clapton Signature Stratocaster was born based on this model, and it is equipped with active EMG pickups that allow for hum cancellation. The neck shape is narrow and has a V shape that does not change in thickness much even when moving to the high position.The radius is 12", which also has something in common with the current modern spec series such as the Ultra.The frets have been filed down and about 50-60% of them are thick.There are traces of some kind of part having been attached near the string guide on the head, but the screw holes have been filled. It is not completely scratch-free, but for an instrument that is over 40 years old, there are few scratches and the truss rod is in good condition and it can still be used. The hard case is made of black tolex and comes with an arm. This is an instrument that will give you a sense of the 80's, including its weight.
