The Yosemite pickups have a flat staggered polepiece for increased output and a special shellac coating that brings out the natural tone of the coil while reducing feedback. The guitar also features a Greasebucket tone circuit that does not muddy the sound when the tone is turned down, and a push/pull tone knob that allows the neck pickup to be always on in all pickup positions.
