Published in Mexico, due to the dictatorship of Franco, whose regime was responsible for the kidnapping and murder of Lorca in 1936. With four original drawings; 2 in black and white and 2 in color. Bound in original paperback wrappers, slightly oversized to fold over the edges. Minor toning, creasing at edges and folds, a few shallow tears, and light chipping at the spine tail. With an additional poem by Antonio Machado and a Prologue by Jose Bergamin. An owners stamp on ffep and title page, as well as signature of other owner to same in ink.
