Description: If you ever watched shows from the 50's were the cop car hits its siren? That is the sound this guy makes. Keeps the same steady pitch until you turn it off like a true air raid siren. It was tested before it was taken down. It was hanging side of a newer barn. The cord is a little short but it is long enough to sneak it into a hole to run the wire. In my opinion for its age it is in very good condition. No dents to the cones. No paint loose. It has the dull and faded look that only age can produce. The cast iron base looks to be original and the bell swings up and down to angle the sound. It measures 11" from front to back. Not super large but not small either. When I seen it on the barn in middle TN I had to have it. With a wobbly folding chair and rusted pair of pillars I managed to take this down and safely bring it home.
