Description: Offered for sale is a spectacular MIXING BOWL that was manufactured by the Federal Glass Company during the Depression Era (1930's - 1940's). Over my 35+ years of selling glassware, I have sold this bowl in different colors (green, pink, amber), but I must say that the carnival glass color or marigold color is really OUTSTANDING!! If you like or collect carnival glass, this would fit right into your collection. This is the LARGEST BOWL of the set and measures 11 1/2 inches across and stands slightly taller than 5 inches. So, the plusses include: the HUGE SIZE, the outstanding color, and the fun of searching for the other sizes. I imagine that there are at least 4 other sizes - possibly 5!! This is a rolled edge mixing bowl and it is paneled all the way around with a large band around the entire bowl. It is footed and quite typical of the 1930's. This is extremely sturdy and would make an AMAZING Halloween candy bowl if you celebrate Halloween - it would hold a ton of candy. The condition is VERY VERY VERY GOOD with no chips, no cracks, no discoloration, and no damage. This bowl may not have been used - it is that nice! Please see all of the photos, check my feedback, and ask any questions before making a purchase. You will fall in love with this amazing bowl.
