Description: This is an Exceptionally Nice Example of a Early American Antique Copper Tea Kettle. Circa early 19th Century. The Design is Graceful and Well Executed. It is Completely Hand Made. The Body is Hand Wrought out of Solid Copper. The Wonderful Stylized Handle is Solid Cast Out of Copper or Possibly Bronze as is The Finial on the Lid. The Attention to Detail in the Making is Obviously the Work of a Experienced Coppersmith. It has No Maker or Other Markings that I can Find. It is Strong, Sound and Usable However I would Recommend a Good Cleaning of the Interior if That is Your Intention. (OK. I admit it. I copied this description from another tea kettle I saw listed on EBay. But I'm fairly certain that it also describes perfectly the one I'm selling. But don't bother looking for the other one. I bought it to cut down on the competition. In fact, I may buy several more so this one really stands out. OR you could buy it and save me the trouble. In addition I'd like to add that it has a whole bunch of dings and dongs so I'm guessing it was really used by someone who was clumsy or perhaps it's really really old like from the 14th Century.) DISCLAIMER: If my tea kettle does not actually measure up to the description, don't blame me. Blame the other guy who penned those details.
