Description: The game is for kids, teens and adults. Farkles Dream Dice – How to play?! The game uses the same scoring concept as standard Farkle, but with different scoring combination options. If you are not familiar with the basic rules of Farkle we recommend that you watch one of the “How to play Farkle” videos posted on YouTube. Then get back to reading further. Apply the scoring guidelines below for playing and use the standard Farkle score sheet for recording players’ scores. In the case of multiple scoring options on a given roll, record only one available score of your choice (typically the highest score) Two odd numbers = 50 points. Two even numbers = 50 points. Distance of 6 numbers (or less) between the numbers = 100 points. Distance of 3 numbers (or less) between the numbers = 300 points. Number 1 = 400 points. Number 18 = 400 points. Two multiplications of 5 (either 5 & 10, 5 & 15 or 10 & 15) = 1,000 points. Double of numbers (example: 4 & 4 or 17 & 17) = 2,000 points. Double of 1s or double of 18s (1 & 1 or 18 & 18) = 3,000 points. Red number – When a player rolls a red number they must score. If they can’t score, they will lose 1,000 points. Example 1: A player rolls red 17 and black 18. They scored 400 points for the 18. The player succeeded the must score challenge. Example 2: A player rolls red 2 and black 12. Both are even numbers for scoring 50 points. The player succeeded the must score challenge. Example 3: A player rolls red 17 and black 6. No scoring available for this combination. The player loses 1,000 points. When a player roles two red numbers they will lose 2,000 points (the chance for that is 1 to 324 rolls) Reminder: when both dice are set aside for scoring (Hot dice), the player can choose to roll the two dice again and continue adding to their accumulative score or they can bank their points, end their turn, and pass the dice to the next player. Note: Unlike in standard Farkle players may combine dice from different rolls. Example: If your initial roll is 18 and 6, you may record 400 points for the 18, keep the die, and then re-roll the 4 attempting to score more points. If you re-roll a 6, you may add 50 points for two even numbers (18 & 6) so that your accumulative score is 450 points. As both dice are included in creating the 50 points, that is a “Hot dice”, and you have the option to continue rolling if you wish. Farkle: Just as in the standard game, when a player scores no points on a roll they lose all the points gained on that turn. A player who rolls 3 Farkles in a row loses 1,000 points. End of the game: The games ends just as standard Farkles ends. The first player to reach 10,000 points is the winner. You may use your preferred version of game ending (some use exact 10,000 as score target, some allow other players a final challenge round etc.) The game is played as regular Farkle, with different scoring combinations. Shipped package includes set of two patent dice, fabric drawstring bag and how to use the die instructions leaflet. See pictures of some game actions at the images section of this page.
