Description: This is a special and rare find. The piece before you was made in the USA to replicate some of England's finest Adams pieces but made to suit Americans of wealth and distinction especially during the roaring 20's when everyone was happy and the economy was scaling up with the building of cars in Detroit. They catered to the wealthiest families back then and made dining sets that cost as much as homes did for the average person. This piece features flamboyant satinwood contrasting against a solid walnut carved frame and swing-out drawers on a yellow ochre and sage green ground. The piece is in its original finish and will show minor finish loss in one spot as shown but is essentially in very good condition for its age. Measures 84 wide x 38.5 tall x 23 deep. Dates to 1920-1925 era and was probably made by Rockford Furniture one of the early 20th century's best American manufacturers. Their furniture cost as much as an average home when made.See LessAttributed to: Rockford National Furniture Company 1 (Cabinetmaker)Dimensions: Height: 38.5 in (97.79 cm)Width: 84 in (213.36 cm)Depth: 23 in (58.42 cm)Style: Adam Style (In the Style Of)Materials and Techniques: Satinwood,WalnutPlace of Origin: United StatesPeriod: 1920-1929Date of Manufacture: 1920Condition: GoodWear consistent with age and use.
